The Farmhouse - indoor accommodation at Gradbach Scout Camp
Camping Facilities

Scout Camping...what Gradbach is all about!

Although Gradbach is able to offer impressive indoor accommodation facilities for Scout groups, Schools, Clubs and other visitors to the site, it's finest assets are its unique Camping Grounds.

Those who visit Gradbach to camp return year after year to enjoy the idyllic surroundings, the fresh country air and the unique environment that envelops this most enchanting of Scout Camps.

Nestling on the valley side above the Dane and Black Brook with its views out over Back Forest towards the Roaches, there just isn't a better place to wake up in a morning!

You're certain to discover your own 'favourite spot' to camp on one of Gradbach's 20 sites. Each has its own individual charm and setting.

Whether you'd prefer to pitch your tent on one of the high plateaus with panoramic views or set up camp beside the river and perhaps test your pioneering skills building a rope bridge across the Dane, we're confident you'll create treasured memories at Gradbach.

Toilets & Showers – Located close to the Camp HQ are separate male and female toilets and showers available for use by campers. Each unit contains toilets, hand washbasins and hot water showers.

Drying Room - Developed with funding kindly donated from the 4 Inns Walk Committee and opened in Spring 2009, we can now offer a small drying room facility for campers and building accommodation customers alike. Situated at the end of the Camp HQ building, the drying room offers the facility for drying wet clothing and boots (not that it ever rains at Gradbach!).
