Fires / Wood Supply:
We remain one of the few Scout Camp sites who will still
allow you to dig pit fires. Please ask the camp staff
for guidance on digging pit fires, or alternatively we
have a number of altar fires that you can borrow.
Whilst we normally have a
small amount of wood on site for fires this cannot be
guaranteed and it is getting increasingly difficult to
obtain. Therefore if you intend to use a quantity of
wood during your stay, or are intending cooking on wood,
then we ask you to bring your own. Alternatively it can
be ordered (with free delivery to the site) from a local
supplier T&M logs,
